Today we are Boondocking in Coalinga, California. For those who don't know what boondocking is, it's camping for free! There are several places along your journeys that you can park for free. Truck stops are one of those places, a lot of walmarts let you park in their parking lots. You can't set up your outside space like at a campgroung, (ie) Chairs, bbqs and bonfires. Do some investigating before you head out and see if there are places you can park for free, after all if it's just for the night, you will be sleeping anyway. I'm one if I can save a dime, I want to save a dime. Some people would call that cheep! lol. I took a couple of pictures so you can see what boondocking is like in Coalinga.

ReplyDeleteYeah, Boondocking here was fantastic.. It was a great area with grass for the dogs and no one bothered us.. and cheapo me loved that it was free :)
